| Welcome to the Composites Manufacturing Lab (CML) web site. I'd like to tell you in brief who we are and what we do, then you can search through the site if you want more information. The CML is at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in rooms 1, 5, 14, and 15 Talbot Lab and houses state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for polymer matrix composites and includes capabilities for filament winding, autoclaving, and hot pressing. Our group averages around 10 grad students, visitors, and undergraduates at any one time. We are focused on research that looks at composites manufacturing and smart materials.
